About

To encourage real pageantry with a purpose, the 2013 Miss Teen Stockton pageant competition has taken away the Swimwear competition and has replaced it with the Casual Wear competition. This is in keeping with the pageant’s objective to provide a safe and comfortable environment where young people can participate in a beauty contest without feeling out of place. For a contestant to win the crown, what is necessary is inner beauty, which glows definitely brighter than the glitziest gown or the million-dollar smile. The young woman who manages to stay calm while in the face of great competition and exhibits an incredible level of poise and grace under pressure also gets the judges’ nod, plus the fabulous load of prizes that includes an expense-paid trip to Orlando, Florida for a chance to compete for thousands of dollars in cash scholarships. Candidates to the 2013 Miss Teen Stockton pageant competition are not required to have prior pageant experience since training will be provided.

In order to make it even easier to join, the 2013 Miss Teen Stockton pageant competition has opened four different age divisions in which candidates can participate. The Junior Pre-teens division is composed of girls ages 7 to 9 while the Pre-teens division is open to girls ages 10 thru 12. For those ages 13 to 15, the Junior Teens division is open. The Teens division is open to contestants ages 16 to 19. In addition, contestants for the 2013 Miss Teen Stockton pageant competition have three exciting areas of competition to take part in: the Personal Interview, the Casual Wear competition, and the Formal Wear competition. In a bid to become socially relevant like all beauty contests should be, the 2013 Miss Teen Stockton pageant competition encourages candidates to develop their personality and to embrace the diversity that exists among their group. Furthermore, the candidates build lasting friendships with each other as they share the same experiences together during the 2013 Miss Teen Stockton pageant competition.
